The MCOE APPROACH
Listen
Part of Marin County Office of Education’s (MCOE) process involved engaging stakeholders to understand their concerns and needs. They launched listening activities early in the process, including surveys to parents/families and participating in community meetings and discussions that allowed them to both gather information from stakeholders while sharing information directly with stakeholders. MCOE employees were included in several focus groups as plans for reopening the central office were shared and evaluated.
